i realized i haven't posted in almost a month. but it felt good not to post. i did chat with some friends within the time, but not blogging just left me feeling refreshed. so. what did i do? well, i went on tour with my choir the 15-24 to alaska on the norwegian pearl cruise ship. i was surprised, i didn't get super sick. there was one night, but that was it. 

i always have felt super left out in my choir, and it felt good to build relationships with the older girls in the choir. the 'pops' as i call some of them. i always have had a strong friendship with theresa, (left) but we got stronger. 

then, i thought brooke (middle) hated me until the last day. when our chaperone told us to partner up with someone we barely saw the entire trip. we looked straight at each other. then she yelled, "meena! get over here!" so i was her partner and our chaperone pointed out when we got back from our first activity, that it was amazing to see new friendships born. she said that her heart melted when she saw me and brooke, hand-in-hand swinging around.

i have a stronger friendship with megan's (right) older sister, mary. mary was the first person that didn't move up with me, to actually talk to me when i was accepted in the top level of the choir. megan and dana came up to me next. megan is really sweet and it was awesome getting to know her better.

also, i had fun shopping with my besties at the mall one day. june 28 we did it. we walked around alone, it was pretty fun. we each got a build-a-bear, and had a sleepover that day, the build-a-bears slept over, too! :) what was the occasion? well, it was number twelve. june 25, i turned twelve years old. i couldn't believe it.
