How did you first decide you were going to start blogging?

At first, I started a jewelry blog to advertise my jewelry so people could learn to make jewelry, and possibly buy some of mine, it is an ultimate failure. Then, on December 16th, 2011, I decided not to post everything on my jewelry blog, so I made Vanilla Scented a personal and Christian blog which is presently this blog that went through tons of name changes! :P

What are your favorite Bible verses?

Um, I have two. My very favorite verse is 2nd Corinthians 4:18, So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary and what is unseen is eternal. And I also adore Galatians 2:16, know that man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing no one will be justified. Both verses are highlighted in my Bible and my favorite verse is at the front of my Bible so I can recite it whenever I open it.

What are your favorite colors?

I'm a big neon colors fan. Neon green, pink, and yellow are awesome together. I'm a big yellow fan, but would never have my room so bright! I also adore the color mash of chartreuse and gray with a bright yellow sandwiched in between!

What has been the most memorable occasion in your life as of this moment?

This is a very hard one, but I'd have to say when I sang a solo in my school choir in front of the entire school when I was only seven. Actually, it might be when I was accepted, after the audition, into the very professional chorus I'm in now at age 8, and started a little bit afterward when I was 9.

Quick! You are stranded on an island and can only have three other items with you. What would you choose?

Um, I'd have to say a hipster style bag, (well, I'd already be wearing my glasses, so I won't need to include that right?) um, and a little journal that comes with the pen, and a bottle. (I'm so clever aren't I?!)

What would you like to do as a career when you're older?

Well, if I stay homeschooled I'm supposed to graduate high school at age sixteen, almost seventeen, then I plan to go to the community college about 15 minutes away with a license and truck of my own. Then when I graduate from there, I plan to go to Juliard in New York, New York and get a Masters degree in teaching and music. Then I plan to become a music teacher at an elementary school hopefully back home here in North Florida and become the youth minister at the church I go to now. I have high expectations for me, and I'm fine with it.
