a new camera ♥

so in september, i wrote this post about wanting a new camera. back then i said i wanted a canon eos rebel t3, well, changeroo. see, i found this awesome site called snapsort where you can compare cameras. it's so cool! so, i wasn't sure if i wanted a canon t3 or a nikon d5100, so i compared them and the nikon won! so, then i realized, wait, this might be a lot more expensive so i compared a nikon d5100 and a canon eos 1-d mark ii and the nikon still one! score.

so, if you all don't know, i have a nice camera- but it's not an slr. i have this little camera below.

it's a canon powershot a590 is. a decent camera for an eleven year old, but i want to do more with a camera. i want to be able to shoot weddings, be a professional photographer. but recently, it felt like i was told to give up on it, let it go.

it happened yesterday, i told my dad i wanted to get the slr and he told me that i could use his, but my little camera gets it a little more vibrant- the pentax just makes the picture crisp. he said that, i'm not getting it. then everything he said, sounded like a blur. so maybe i shouldn't chase after my dreams. what do you think?

p.s. do you like the new design? it's coolio isn't it?
